Donna has been practicing law for over twenty years and has developed a broad commercial practice of interrelated practice areas providing her with the ability to serve clients in more than one specialty.  She offers straightforward advice focusing on the interests of her clients in a comprehensive manner.

After graduating from The John Marshall Law School in 1999 with both a JD and LLM in commercial real estate she moved back to New York City.  Donna was admitted to the bar of the State of Connecticut in 1999, the bar of the State of New York in 2000 and the bar of the State of Florida in 2014.

From 2003-2014 Donna represented a number of New York State chartered savings banks and community banks. She handled commercial loans from origination through closing.  Once the real estate market crashed as a result of the Great Recession her practice evolved to include restructuring/workouts, portfolio loan sales, REO sales, short sales, deed in lieu transactions and foreclosures for her bank clients.  Handling all these transactions provides her with a unique perspective on the commercial loan transaction lifecycle.

After joining Rosenberg Feldman Smith, LLP in January, 2015, Donna began to expand her practice to include a wide variety of transactional matters focusing on Real Estate, Corporate, and Trust and Estates practice areas.  In the area of real estate she handles commercial and residential real estate acquisitions & sales, and retail office leasing work representing both landlords and tenants.  In the corporate area Donna handles corporate formations, acquisition and sales of small to medium sized businesses, employment issues, and the dissolution or winding up of corporations or other business entities.  Lastly, in the trust and estate area she handles wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), health care proxy, living wills and durable powers of attorney.

In the spring of 2020, Donna spearheaded the opening of the firm’s first satellite office in West Palm Beach, Florida.
